The Lord gives
And the Lord takes away
The Lord ask me
'What do you believe today?'
I answer 'question'
He smiles
Looks away
Off into the sunset
Then turns to me and says
'You're done.'
I'm puzzled
So we kneel and pray
With me muzzled
What could it do today?
But he giveth
Just as he took away
And I'm muddled
In my beliefs today...
